Walking into my nieces' room watching the two of them playing with a group of friends, since all were four and under, a little disagreement broke out over the correct colors of the blocks. Finally, my youngest niece, not yet two, stood up and announced with her sweet cherub face and little husky voice, "This is red, this is red, this is red", as she laid every block in triumphant procession. Confident that she had set the record straight, she sweetly smiled, and promptly left the room to sit on my husband's lap to watch a movie.
Red always stirs strong emotions - of sacrifice, devotion, and clarity. No designer confidently uses red better than the famed designer Alessandra Branca.
