Serenity • Conservation • Beauty

๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿƒ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒฟON GOLDEN POND ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿƒ

Watching the light dancing on the water ...

listening to the rabbits as they crunch and nibble ...

a lovely and serene scene as the ducks glide here and there ...

I wanted to share one more picture taken right before

the last rays of the sunset said goodbye last night.

The Central Valley in California is one of the only regions in the United States suitable for the

innovative process of groundwater banking and storage of rainfall.

What you are looking at is actually

a groundwater banking facility... a large number of sizable ponds to you and me.

They rapidly become a nature sanctuary for a variety of birds, ducks, herons,

and rabbits that live among the wild flowers.

These ponds add so much beauty, help clean the air, store water, and lower the temperature

 in those areas.

Personally,  I am grateful for them and I am proud we don't waste our rainfall.
